Tapping on its 20-year
expertise in audio-visual R&D and combining it with cloud and 5G
technologies, Huawei has launched a video conferencing solution
named Huawei Cloud Meeting.

Huawei’s goal in
launching the device-cloud synergy solution is to enable the
widespread use of high-resolution video formats and AI in combination with
productivity tools, and to work with partners to grow an ecosystem of services
across a number of industries, including ICT, broadcast, media and AV.

The video conferencing solution can host internal and external meetings
for up to 1,000 concurrent participants, and features one-click data sharing
and transfer among PCs, mobile phones, tablets, meeting room terminals and
smart TVs.

Designed for
communication and collaboration, Huawei Cloud Meeting can deliver ultra-HD
meeting experiences, and supports wireless projection of documents, audio and
video. The solution also offers open APIs that can be integrated with
third-party applications and web platforms, empowering one-click native cloud
meetings for on-the-go collaboration.

Huawei has also
placed a particular focus on data security for remote collaboration, allowing
the Huawei Cloud Meeting to provide protection for cloud and device access,
including data sharing and transmission as well as management data monitoring. The
company added that the solution ensures data sovereignty with tenanted data
isolation and AES265 encryption of contacts and meeting recording.

Daniel Zhou, President
of Cloud and AI at Huawei Asia-Pacific, said: “Focused on revolutionising
meeting experiences, Huawei Cloud Meeting wants to make remote communications
as seamless as face-to-face communications. To this end, we will continue to
invest in core audio and video capabilities to simplify collaboration, improve
operational efficiencies, and speed up decision-making.”
