This IBC, Pixotope Technologies is lining up a range of technology solutions and initiatives that are aimed at driving virtual production adoption and growth.
For instance, the Pixotope Camera Tracking solution is designed to provide a streamlined approach to camera tracking and graphics integration. Following the acquisition of camera tracking solutions provider, TrackMen, the company can now offer this solution to a much wider audience, by improving the existing integration and simplifying interfaces to make tracking and graphics work together.
The XR Edition graphics software will also make its debut at booth 7.D08. Designed to mitigate the technical complexities and associated resource cost of extended reality (XR) workflows and environments with LED volumes, Pixotope’s XR Edition includes a range of tools to simplify the set-up and operation of XR productions for an improved and more efficient user experience.
To foster the next generation of virtual production talents, Pixotope will be introducing the Pixotope Education Programme (PEP). This community-oriented initiative will be paired with the expanded Pixotope platform to create an on-ramp to virtual production workflows based on ease of use, technical excellence, education, and knowledge sharing.
David Dowling, Chief Revenue Officer of Pixotope, explained, “By leveraging our network of partners and experts, we can help educational institutions fill in the knowledge gaps while also providing access to the tools that power virtual production.
“With the PEP, we’re building a pipeline of next-generation talent so that virtual production can simply become media production.”
