Ateme has been chosen to power the over-the-top (OTT) headend of IndiHome TV, a part of Telkom Indonesia’s nationwide fixed broadband service. IndiHome TV offers a suite of services, including Internet, telephone, and video entertainment. By partnering with Ateme, IndiHome TV will be able to expand its headend capabilities and enrich the viewing experience for its base of about one million active monthly subscribers.
The core technologies employed by Ateme, namely its TITAN transcoders and NEA Just-in-Time packagers, play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of experience for IndiHome TV viewers. These solutions ensure low latency and vivid imagery, elevating the overall streaming experience. In addition, Ateme’s high-density transcoders and hyper-converged storage solution will optimise system efficiency, leading to a reduction in energy consumption for Telkom.
