When it comes to niched and big-scale events, Informa Tech is at top of its game after achieving an applaudable increase in visitors during its latest wrapped up event: BroadcastAsia 2023.
Held in Singapore, the three-day event featured over a thousand exhibitors hailing from various broadcast-related industries.
In an interview with Informa Tech’s Producer Elle Quan, she said that the event had a 60% increase in visitors this year.
For the first day alone, more than 12,000 attendees came and flooded the multiple halls of the venue.
“As a brand in TX where BroadcastAsia now sits, exciting things have been happening the past three years… [In just a day,] we have about 12,000 attendees through the doors yesterday. That was day one. We have over 1000 exhibitors. So, we’ve seen a 60% increase from last year,” she said.
Quan attributes this success to the speakers that graced the event, which she believes pulled in many attendees to drop by the event.
“The lineup of speakers is fabulous. We have the president of Snapchat, the president of Asia Pacific for Warner Brothers, we have speakers from La Liga speakers, from Astro, and other regional enterprise. So, it is fantastic.”
With the success of the event, BroadcastAsia’s run for 2024 have already received a date. Not surprisingly, it will now be set for four days instead of three, to further provide for more speakers and attendees during the inaugural event.
It was announced that BroadcastAsia 2024 will be from May 29 to 31 next year.
“There has been a request to increase our floor area and our dates as well, because of the very good reception that we’ve had this year. This is something that we’re looking at as we’re really excited to expand BroadcastAsia as an event,” she said.
Informa Tech has been in the industry for only a couple of years, but it has already gained significant experience from the many companies they have worked with in the market.
“We are in charge of looking after the content and getting speakers on board. We make sure that we have fantastic stages, conferences, and sessions that engage the audience. [This includes] speakers that are sought after, so that whatever message they have, the audience would like to come and attend to,” Quan explained.
The company is now dubbed as being the lead provider of market insights and market access. It connects the business tech community through providing in-depth experience whilst working with an engaged audience community.
It has since worked with over 100 global brands and it is consistent in focusing on tech innovation to help in bringing ideas and people together.
