Shotoku Broadcast Systems will present its latest TR-XT Touchscreen control system, TR-XT, v3, at IBC 2023. The upgraded version includes a fresh Windows-based graphical user interface (GUI) with improved navigation and readable icons while retaining the system’s core power and flexibility. Notable features encompass key-frame sequences, on-air tally interfacing, and preview router control.
James Eddershaw, Managing Director of Shotoku UK, said, “The TR-XT Touchscreen control system has always kept pace with the changing customer requirements that come with our ever-evolving broadcast industry. We’re excited to launch the latest version to the European market at IBC and discuss its new features and capabilities with existing customers and visitors.”
Shotoku’s product portfolio will be showcased at booth 11.C10, featuring SmartPed, a robotic pedestal with AN-S, its Absolute Navigation system. The TI-11X elevator pedestal, boasting enhanced speed and range over its predecessor, will also debut at the show. The TG-18i PT Pan/Tilt/Head, known for its high payload capacity and connectivity, will be displayed alongside the new TG-47 Pan & Tilt Head, which comes with a payload of 22kg to support a wide range of cameras and accessories, including typical 17-19-inch teleprompters.
Another highlight is the AutoFrame face tracking system, utilising advanced algorithms to control Shotoku’s robotic cameras automatically. The system maintains presenter and guest framing during live broadcasts, eliminating the need for manual adjustment.
Shotoku will also unveil the Orchestra CMS control system software, designed for legislative, conference, and corporate facilities. The system’s enhanced user-interface ensures smoother operation and increased intuitiveness, along with features like live video spotter camera, floor plan graphic, and automated microphone selection triggers.
