Magnifi by VideoVerse, an AI-driven video technology company and video editing software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, has been selected by Club de Futbol Monterrey Rayados, a professional football club based in Mexico as its video editing solutions provider.
Rayados and Rayadas, professional teams of the Club, will use Magnifi’s platform to produce highlights of their matches, including everything from overtime goals to blocked penalty kicks, much more efficiently. This collaboration with Monterrey Rayados, said Magnifi, will provide a working template for other football clubs to consider implementing AI-generated highlights themselves.
Everardo Valdez, Director of Institutional and Media Relations and spokesman at Club de Futbol Monterrey, said they were excited to see key moments from their men’s and women’s team matches captured with the aid of Magnifi.
“We canvassed far and wide for AI-based video solutions, but chose Magnifi because of its leading-edge features,” said Valdez. “With smart ball-tracking and auto-flipping, we can not only create more highlights, but also distribute them more efficiently to our social media and digital platforms. Our highlights will be everywhere our fans are online.”
In addition to auto-generated highlights, Valdez added that Rayados will explore adopting Magnifi for even more innovative use cases. For example, he shared that Rayados may leverage Magnifi to better document players from the team’s youth academy.
