K+ supercharges OTT monetization via broadpeak.io SaaS platform

Broadpeak, a leading provider of content delivery network (CDN) and video streaming solutions for content providers and pay-TV operators worldwide, has announced that Vietnamese pay-TV operator VSTV, or K+, is using Broadpeak’s server-side ad insertion (SSAI) technology to monetise its live channels and new advertising-based video-on-demand (AVoD) service.
The personalised ad insertion solution, available through the broadpeak.io SaaS platform, empowers VSTV to quickly increase revenues for its over-the-top (OTT) services.

Broadpeak’s platform is used to dynamically insert targeted ads for 10,000 hours of video-on-demand (VoD) content, including VIU series, for which the operator holds exclusive rights in the Vietnamese market, as well as for 40 live channels featuring popular events like Formula 1 and English Premier League football.
The broadpeak.io platform streamlines targeted ad insertion, allowing VSTV to personalise ad replacements based on viewer behaviour and preferences.
From an ad-tracking standpoint, the services leverage the BPK SmartLib SDK for client-side ad tracking, providing insightful analytics relating to monetisation and quality of experience (QoE) performance. The broadpeak.io platform is integrated with a SpringServe ad server.
