beIN launches win-win subscription service powered by Synamedia Senza

To extend its reach to new markets and segments, and to drive subscriber growth, beIN Media Group has gone live with the Synamedia Senza cloud video platform in selected countries in the MENA region.
Using Senza, beIN can launch and operate beIN STREAM, its new subscription service, with flexibility, including the ability to update the user experience instantly, with minimal development effort, and without the need for software updates to every device.
Senza transforms the economics of reaching consumers by avoiding platform ecosystem fees – including revenue shares – and lowering onboarding costs by up to 90%. By leveraging the power of cloud graphics processing, Senza is able to deliver a personalised, immersive user experience with advanced graphics and AI-generated synthetic video.
Israel Esteban, CTO, beIN said, “beIN is at the forefront of embracing advanced technologies with the power to grow our business by reaching new customer segments across a broader array of devices.
“We have adopted several breakthrough technologies from Synamedia over the years and we look forward to extending our partnership as we explore the opportunities offered by Senza.”
Senza offers new monetisation opportunities for businesses across media and entertainment, hospitality, Internet of Things (IoT) and other sectors. As well as transforming the economics of reaching consumers, it lowers costs and overcomes technology barriers to bring more engaging viewing experiences.
Paul Segre, CEO, Synamedia, added, “Senza gives operators like beIN an easy way to increase their market share by reaching new audiences. Senza’s innovative approach reduces deployment and operational costs yet delivers a viewing experience unlike any other platform.
“And the best part is it will only improve with time, resulting in lower operational costs for the service provider and a better viewing experience for viewers. It’s a win-win.”
