Operative unveils AOS Services Platform to power AI-driven media monetisation

Operative has unveiled a new AOS Services Platform aimed at helping enterprise media organisations modernise, scale, and future-proof their advertising operations in an increasingly complex, multi-channel environment.

The new platform extends Operative’s intelligent media management offering into a set of foundational services designed to support both today’s monetisation needs and the development of AI-driven capabilities across linear, digital, and streaming channels. As media owners balance audience-first strategies with the commercial demands of advertisers, Operative said the AOS Services Platform provides the operational backbone needed to operate and grow without being constrained by legacy infrastructure.

Designed for media companies managing multi-platform monetisation at scale, the AOS Services Platform enables organisations to standardise core operations in a modular way, while retaining the flexibility to build differentiated capabilities on top. This approach allows enterprises to maintain control and consistency while evolving their technology stacks as business models change.

At its core are shared OMS services covering inventory, product definitions, rate cards, planning, deal management, order processing, and billing across both linear and digital environments. The platform is built on an API-first, integration-ready architecture, with all services exposed via APIs to support custom applications, partner integrations, and proprietary decisioning without duplicating core logic.

A key differentiator is the platform’s embedded intelligence layer, which brings AI capabilities directly into monetisation workflows. This includes observation tools, natural language interaction, agentic orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and workflow automation, allowing intelligence to be applied where work happens rather than bolted on as separate tools. A built-in trust layer provides enterprise-grade security, governance, privacy, and compliance across workflows, APIs, and intelligent automation.

“Media businesses have reached an era where they need to be everywhere for audiences and advertisers,” said Michael Napodano, CEO, Operative. “As they navigate an environment defined by multi-channel, audience-first monetisation, adaptability and scale are essential. The AOS Services Platform delivers a standardised foundation for linear and streaming revenue, with the intelligence and flexibility media companies need to move faster and innovate with confidence.”
