Anton/Bauer unveils Fleet Management platform for smarter battery control

Anton/Bauer has launched Anton/Bauer Fleet Management, a cloud-based platform designed to give productions, rental houses, and broadcasters real-time insights and control over their batteries and chargers.

Developed for the demands of global and fast-moving production environments, the system delivers live visibility into the health, usage, and status of every connected Anton/Bauer smart battery and charger. By consolidating data into a single dashboard, the platform enables predictive maintenance, remote firmware updates, and more informed capital planning, helping productions maximise uptime and minimise costly disruptions.

Andrew Hutton, Head of Product Management, Anton/Bauer, said, “Productions run on power. If your batteries fail, your set stops. Fleet Management gives our customers total visibility and control over their power strategy.

“By putting live data, predictive maintenance, and remote updates into one easy-to-use dashboard, we are empowering productions to keep cameras rolling and crews focused on creativity, not troubleshooting.”

Among its features, Fleet Management offers automatic data uploads for every connected unit, customisable performance alerts, exportable fleet summaries for reporting, data visualisation tools to track usage trends, and user-level controls for distributed teams and rental customers. A remote firmware update capability — slated for release soon — will allow entire fleets to be upgraded simultaneously.

The platform is accessible via any web browser and scales from managing a single battery to coordinating thousands across multiple global locations.

This launch also marks the first product release from Anton/Bauer’s newly integrated engineering team, which combines the company’s power expertise with Teradek’s background in cloud and data systems.

“With Fleet Management, we are not just delivering power. We are delivering control. This is the next evolution in helping our customers reduce downtime, extend battery life, and optimise every asset in their fleet,” said Hutton.
