This year, the company is heading to BroadcastAsia 2025 to address APAC’s diverse production needs with its flexible solutions, which allows operators to scale IP transitions at their own pace, from hardware and legacy workflows to an app-IP cloud-native future.
For example, Appear’s technology is supporting Thailand’s I-Sports in enabling real-time, centralised Video Assistant Referee (VAR) content delivery for Thai Major League and League 2 football matches.

X5 extends X Platform’s power into a compact, ultra-portable form factor for remote production, live contribution, and cloud-based workflows. Supporting AVC & HEVC, SDI and ST2110 uncompressed workflows, hardware-accelerated SRT (aSRT), and advanced security, the X5 delivers ultra-low latency, IP connectivity and best-in-class compression.
Another highlight is Appear’s latest software product, the VX Media Gateway, which simplifies hybrid cloud/on-premises workflows.
It is a software solution designed to enable hybrid cloud/on-premise workflows, empowering broadcasters and service providers to transition to flexible, software-defined architectures without sacrificing performance, resilience, or latency.
