arkona Technologies, a provider of IP core infrastructure solutions for top-tier broadcast productions, will be making its debut at the NAB 2023 with what it calls a “world’s first”, next-generation live production cloud solution.
Erling Hedkvist, Sales & Business Development Manager, arkona, said, “We can’t reveal any details yet, but anyone who is interested in the benefits of the cloud and high-end broadcast productions should stop by!
“Of course, we’ll also be showing our latest BLADE//runner release, which was just tapped for a major installation in Australia.”
Designed for the modern broadcast facility where agility and scalability are essential, the BLADE//runner suite provides a highly flexible and modular core infrastructure for Tier-1 live broadcast productions.
BLADE//runner provides a wide variety of tools for professional productions, including audio/video routing, compression, processing, and visualisation, with open standards support and an API-first approach, which allows for a high degree of flexibility centred around user-specific workflows.
BLADE//runner is also controllable through Networked Media Open Specifications (NMOS) IS-04/-05.
At booth C4345, arkona will be demonstrating BLADE//runner 2.2, which includes the new Java Script XML (JXS) application that extends the capability of the AT300, the latest generation of arkona's Programmable Acceleration Card (PAC), which supports JPEG-XS.
