AsiaSat’s BroadcastAsia Show 2023: A Triumph with Global Customer Turnout

The recently concluded BroadcastAsia Show 2023 held in Singapore has been a bustling event, attracting a remarkable number of participants from around the world. Raymond Chow, the Chief Commercial Officer of AsiaSat, expressed his satisfaction with the show’s turnout, anticipating great success. In an exclusive interview with Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+, Chow highlighted the diverse customer base, comprising both video and data customers.

When asked about the products showcased at the event, Chow emphasized AsiaSat’s media business, which primarily focuses on traditional capacity media distribution channels. However, he also mentioned the addition of their feeding cells, aimed at assisting customers seeking to establish a presence in Asia through distributed channels. AsiaSat’s comprehensive distribution platforms cover everything from satellite transmission to end-user management, providing seamless solutions for clients.

AsiaSat’s specialization in the Asia-Pacific region stems from its impressive market penetration. With over half a billion users accessing the “hey, go ahead as 5g” network, and approximately half a million hotel rooms equipped with their services, AsiaSat ensures its customers can reach a vast audience. By offering a one-stop shop solution, AsiaSat enables content producers to focus on their creative endeavors while entrusting the distribution process to their capable hands.

In response to the query about the competition in the satellite market, Chow shared some distinctive features of AsiaSat’s services. He revealed that AsiaSat has been operating for over three years, which underscores its experience and expertise. Additionally, AsiaSat’s services boast excellent coordination, allowing for high modulation and compatibility with smaller antennas. This is particularly advantageous for data services and video distribution, as it accommodates customers with limited space in remote locations, who can still receive channels using smaller antennas.

The BroadcastAsia Show 2023 served as an ideal platform for AsiaSat to showcase its comprehensive range of services catering to the media industry. The event witnessed a significant turnout of global customers, affirming AsiaSat’s strong position in the market. With its well-coordinated operations and ability to support high modulation and smaller antennas, AsiaSat stands out as a reliable and efficient solution provider for content creators and distributors.
