ARRI unleashes a Mighty Mini
ARRI unveils its new Alexa Mini LF camera — a lightweight compact camera that comes equipped with large-format Alexa LF sensor to bring new creative possibilities. The camera also features three internal motorised FSNCD filters, 12V power input, a new Codex Compact Drive as well as an MVF-2 high-contrast HD viewfinder to provide the highest image quality for large-format shooting.
CyanView-Panasonic alliance saves $$$ & time
The lack of true multi-cam control solutions makes the sub-$10K cinema cameras difficult to use. CyanView has collaborated with Panasonic to solve the problem by a 3.0 firmware upgrade that supports a USB-LAN adapter, thereby allowing IP control. This enabled the EVA-LIVE multi-cam control to integrate with CyanView’s Cy-RCP remote control panel.
