If any degradation is detected, the service automatically switches to the next best available route, guaranteeing uninterrupted traffic flow. This advanced technology allows Caton Technology to achieve an industry-leading Service Level Agreement (SLA) of six nines, or 99.9999% reliability.

During the interview, Michael Yang provided a visualization of the system. The diagram showcased multiple points of presence (POPs) around the world, each connected through the public internet. The live stream demonstration from Singapore to Oregon in the United States displayed a one-way delay of less than 100 milliseconds, highlighting the ultra-low latency capabilities of the Caton Media XStream service.
“These paths are selected by our AI algorithms, and if anything happens, the path will switch. So the traffic never stops. That’s how we can achieve that kind of ultimate reliability,” Yang further explained.
