Dish TV leverages ThinkMediaAI to curate content on Watcho OTT

Content distribution company Dish TV India has chosen ThinkMediaAI to provide personalised recommendations across its Watcho over-the-top (OTT) platform.
ThinkAnalytics’ ThinkMediaAI product suite includes personalised content discovery, search, editorial curation, UX orchestration, A/B testing and business insight, which will allow Dish TV to enhance the viewing experience and drive increased user engagement and subscriber loyalty.
ThinkAnalytics will provide search and personalised content discovery across more than 24 OTT apps on Watcho’s OTT aggregation platform, as well as live TV.
Dish TV will take advantage of ThinkMediaAI’s massive scalability to meet the requirements of millions of paying subscribers as well as supporting 12 different languages.
ThinkMediaAI will strengthen Watcho’s evolution from a content aggregator to a comprehensive entertainment platform that offers curated and immersive experiences. Furthermore, as Watcho’s library is boosted with more international and regional titles, ThinkMediaAI’s metadata enrichment ensures the highest quality recommendations and discovery, even when viewers are interested in niche local language dramas.
Using ThinkMediaAI’s real-time profiling and dynamic UI with rail positioning and trending content tailored to the user, Watcho viewers will have a personalised user experience on every device. At the same time, the editorial and curation team will have improved decision making based on new insights and intelligence about viewing behaviour trends and content investments.
