This live coverage helped authorities coordinate emergency responses and allowed citizens to make informed decisions for their safety. The use of drones, mobile reporting kits, and interactive tools allowed the broadcast to connect with viewers.
The broadcast reached approximately 23 million viewers, with over 800,000 additional engagements through online platforms. Viewers participated by sharing real-time updates, submitting eyewitness accounts, and accessing emergency advisories.
As a public service broadcaster, Hanoi Radio and Television prioritised providing life-saving information. Thousands of residents relied on the coverage to make crucial safety decisions during the typhoon.
