Interra Systems enhances QC checks with Mediator X integration
The partnership will see the integration of Interra Systems’ Baton QC solution with Evertz’s Mediator X MAM platform
To simplify the automation of QC for media developers, Interra Systems has integrated its Baton file-based QC solution with Evertz’ Mediator X media asset management (MAM) platform. The combined solution, according to both companies, will enable media companies to perform QC checks on media files during each stage of the workflow, on-premise or in the cloud, providing alerts and reports on issues.

Mediator X from Evertz is a platform comprising MAM, transmission playout and non-linear delivery applications. Designed to repurpose and deliver multi-format content, Mediator X features multi-format browse, advanced search tools, and a workflow that enables expansion in playout and publishing.
Interra Systems’ Baton is a cloud-enabled solution that offers performance over standalone QC tools, providing quality checks, scalability and verification efficiency. Apart from providing quality checks, Baton supports a wide range of media formats, and features subtitles and closed caption verification, audio language identification, PSE correction, as well as loudness detection and correction.
