COBALT WAVE 12G SDI routers
The COBALT WAVE family of routers are flexible, simple to use and designed for space efficiency and easy integration with support for signals up to 12G-SDI. The WAVE RTR-64×64 (4RU) and COBALT WAVE RTR-36×36 (2RU) crosspoint solutions feature full-size BNC connectors, have a single 10/100/1000 Ethernet port for IP-based control, and offer RP-168 switching support.
The web-based control allows full setup, salvos, monitoring, and preset management. These routers are optimised for 12G SDI operation but handle lower SDI rates with ease, as well as ASI and MADI. Cobalt routers feature an open modern control API for third party integration, as well as support for traditional control protocols. Control of the routers is accomplished by Cobalt’s WAVE CP control panels.
Cobalt also offers WAVE 12×12 and 24×24 routers in openGear form factor.
COBALT TOPAZ up/down/cross converters
The COBALT TOPAZ 9904 series of up/down/cross converters deliver high-performance signal processing with frame sync, audio embedding, and optional advanced DSP features such as Dolby loudness leveling and standard dynamic range (SDR)-to-high dynamic range (HDR) conversion. Supporting both quad-link and single-wire 12G UHD transport, these converters allow seamless migration to 4K workflows while maintaining pristine signal integrity.
COBALT INDIGO 12G native ST 2110
INDIGO ST 2110 products bring native IP support to 12G workflows, eliminating the need for external gateways. With integrated support for NMOS IS-04/05 and ST 2022-7 redundancy, Cobalt enables direct IP ingest and output for HD to 4K, reducing complexity and simplifying IP deployments.
COBALT UltraBlue IP-MV multiviewers
The UltraBlue IP-MV multiviewer series is available as both a software package and a turn-key hardware solution. These multiviewers feature an intuitive web interface and support for compressed and baseband (ST 2110) IP/SDI inputs and outputs to accommodate growth. The UltraBlue IP-MV can receive audio/video over IP in various protocols and formats with very flexible audio routing. Cobalt also offers the 9971 openGear SDI multiviewer series.
COBALT PACIFIC encoders and decoders
Cobalt’s PACIFIC line of HEVC/AVC encoders and decoders provides high-quality, low-latency video delivery. They support 4K transmission over SDI or IP without bandwidth burden.
COBALT ROYAL 12G distribution amplifiers
Cobalt’s ROYAL 12G distribution amplifiers ensure signal fidelity across long distances and complex infrastructures. With flexible crosspoint routing and up to 160 outputs per frame, ROYAL DAs support coax and fibre, enabling resilient signal distribution even in 8K systems.
