Lynx-Technik Unveils Innovative Broadcast Solutions at BroadcastAsia Show 2023, Demonstrating Commitment to Meeting Diverse System Requirements

Lynx-Technik, a Germany-based company specializing in broadcast quality products, showcased its latest offerings at the BroadcastAsia Show 2023 held in Singapore. The Managing Director of Lynx-Technik, Joehan Tohkingkeo, introduced the company’s range of innovative products, highlighting their commitment to meeting diverse system requirements.

One of the standout products presented by Lynx-Technik was their central control software, a comprehensive software control solution that enables users to monitor and control Lynx products. Tohkingkeo emphasized the user-friendly nature of the software, encouraging interested individuals to visit the company’s website and download it for free. This allows users to explore and familiarize themselves with the features of the entire product range, even without physical access to the products themselves.

Tohkingkeo commented on the company’s confidence in the software, stating, “We are very confident that those who try it will find it to be a very user-friendly and intuitive software to satisfy their system requirements.”

Regarding the company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region, Tohkingkeo mentioned that the Lynx-Technik central control software was launched last year. Due to the pandemic, the rollout faced some delays. However, the company remained committed to introducing the software to the market. Tohkingkeo further explained that the Lynx-Technik central control software had been well-received, making its presence known in the region.

Another notable product showcased by Lynx-Technik was the “Green Machine.” This versatile corner device offers up-down cross-conversion capabilities, handling 4K, 3G SDI, and HD SDR to SDR conversions. It is a comprehensive tool that supports audio embedding and analog as well as AS BBU inputs. Additionally, the Green Machine enables fiber optics transmission, making it suitable for various outdoor and studio applications.

Tohkingkeo proudly announced that the Green Machine had been successfully utilized in a major sports event in Japan the previous year. This success further solidifies the product’s reputation and opens up possibilities for its application in other sports events, both outdoor and in-studio environments.

When discussing Lynx-Technik’s customer base, Tohkingkeo mentioned their range of yellobrik products. Yellobrik is a line of versatile small form-factor boxes that cater to various fiber optic and signal conversion needs. These boxes offer solutions such as CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing), enabling the transmission of up to 18 different video or audio channels over a single fiber cable.

The yellobrik products can be used as standalone devices or rack-mounted for easy transport and deployment in the field. This versatility allows users to populate their flight cases with different models and easily set up their equipment on-site. Tohkingkeo emphasized the convenience and practicality of these products, highlighting their usefulness in various applications.

Lynx-Technik’s presence at the BroadcastAsia Show 2023 attracted attention from industry professionals, who expressed interest in the company’s innovative offerings. The company’s commitment to providing broadcast quality products, coupled with their user-friendly software and versatile devices, positions them as a leading player in the market.
