Regarding the target audience for their products, Lim explained that Magna Systems primarily focuses on operators, carriers, and global network providers such as Nokia, Ericsson, and Huawei. Moreover, the company seeks partnerships with systems integrators (SI) that specialize in benchmarking solutions, further expanding their customer base.
Lim also shed light on two other key products showcased at the event. The first is Edgility, an edge computing solution from Telco Systems. As the market witnesses an increasing number of devices connecting to backend solutions, the need for efficient edge computing solutions becomes crucial. Edgility enables the monitoring of a multitude of devices, particularly in the context of IoT, where vast numbers of connected devices exist within networks.
Another remarkable offering showcased by Magna Systems is Geo Locations from Groundhog, a Taiwanese company. Geo Locations provides operators with a comprehensive toolset to capture real-time user information, monitor signaling messages, evaluate core performance, and assess coverage and quality. These capabilities empower operators to optimize their networks and enhance the overall customer experience.
When asked about the relevance of systems integrators in the current market landscape, Lim confidently stated that there is still a substantial demand for their services. He emphasized the importance of being proactive in seeking out new customers beyond the traditional telco sector. By actively engaging with enterprises, public sector organizations, government agencies, and defense customers who utilize telco solutions, systems integrators like Magna Systems can continue to thrive.
