Marshall’s new IP PTZ cameras save time/cost for integrators
Marshall Electronics has introduced the CV630-BI (black) and CV630-WI (white) IP pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras, featuring 25X 4K/Ultra HD (UHD) optical zoom capabilities. Designed for applications ranging from live broadcasts and newscasts to corporate events and educational settings, these models deliver performance in a compact form factor.
Equipped with an eight-megapixel 1/2.5” sensor, the CV630 series supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160p 4K/UHD and multiple HD formats, including 1920 x 1080p and 1280 x 720p. The 25X optical zoom block, with a wide 68-degree field of view, provides clarity and flexibility, while the synchronous PTZ motors ensure smooth and silent movements that support environments requiring precision and minimal disruption.

These cameras support simultaneous video streams via HDMI, 3G-SDI, and triple-stream IP (H.265/H.264), with stereo audio input embeddable on all outputs. Installation is streamlined with Power-over-Ethernet (PoE+), reducing costs and setup time for integrators.
Control options include an IR remote, networked video management software, or RS-232/RS-422 protocols compatible with Visca, Visca over IP, Pelco, and Onvif platforms. Additionally, the cameras work with the Marshall VS-PTC-300 PTZ Camera Controller for intuitive PTZ adjustments.
