Moments Lab & LucidLink stream 77th Cannes key moments instantly
Moments Lab, an AI and video search company, has partnered with LucidLink, a pioneer in real-time data access and collaboration, to revolutionise content creation workflows. The integration of their cloud technologies allows video professionals to instantly access live and archived media and transfer selected clips directly to LucidLink’s filespace for editing.
By eliminating the need to sync, download, or relink files, the solution enables users to work with tools like Adobe Premier without delays, significantly enhancing efficiency and creativity.
The partnership combines Moments Lab’s Media Hub, Live Asset Manager, and MXT-1.5 multimodel AI with LucidLink’s cloud-based storage platform, creating a workflow for content production teams. Frederic Petitpont, CTO and Co-Founder of Moments Lab, emphasised the transformative impact of this collaboration, noting that it allows teams to streamline workflows without the need for repetitive file handling.
Peter Thompson, CEO of LucidLink, added how the partnership can accelerate the discovery and utilisation of key moments in video content, enabling creators to focus on storytelling rather than technical obstacles.
The integration was put to the test by global media brand Brut during the 77th Cannes Film Festival. As the festival media partner, Brut captured live streams from red carpets, ceremonies, and interviews, while its teams worked across locations in the south of France, Paris, New York, and New Delhi.
Moments Lab’s platform enabled instant access to the streams, allowing journalists to identify standout moments and send them to LucidLink for editing and publishing.
The efficiency of this workflow played a pivotal role in Brut achieving unprecedented success, including millions of views and substantial growth in audience engagement across platforms, like Instagram and TikTok.
