Mono Streaming picks PlayBox Neo’s CiaB to secure and expand EPL fans

With the goal of dominating Thailand’s sports streaming over the next decade, Mono Streaming has selected PlayBox Neo’s Channel-in-a-Box (CiaB) HD servers to support their English Premier League Programme for Monomax, an over-the-top (OTT) streaming platform.

Mono Streaming, a subsidiary of Thailand’s leading media broadcast and content conglomerate Mono Next Public Company (MONO), expands across IPTV, free-to-air, and cable channels which also includes the Monomax streaming platform, digital TV channel MONO29, and other ventures in publishing, music, and mobile content.

In partnership with PlayBox Neo’s local dealer Central Solutions, the project included supplying Mono Streaming with four new CiaB HD server upgrades and licences in configuration with ingest to replace old legacy playback and recording systems. The brand new CiaB servers consist of three channels per server, including 1080p frames to fully support the required ad streaming specifications.

PlayBox Neo’s CiaB is the complete broadcast playout server solution offering all the essential facilities to sustain streaming content over OTT, combining AirBox Neo which automates content streaming and broadcast playout with 4K-Ultra HD (UHD) optimisation.

In addition, ListBox Neo scheduling, TitleBox Neo interactive CG and graphics, Ingest content ingest, and Media Gateway live delivery are included. PlayBox Neo’s platforms support playout in multi-resolutions including 4K, HD and SD, always ensuring the highest levels of playout security.
