Newsbridge, a video content management company, has revealed their new AI indexing technology, MXT-1, at NAB Show 2023. The technology can analyse up to 500 hours of video content per minute and can identify specific moments, such as a touchdown in a football game or a political speech.

According to Frederic Petitpont, CTO and Founder of Newsbridge, MXT-1 differs from traditional AI models in its speed and efficiency. "It's way faster," he says. "We can analyse up to 500 hours per minute." To achieve this, MXT-1 takes video content and splits it into chunks, then analyses a few frames using CP. It uses a server listing of spacey and I-spaces landmarks, objects, and emotions to summarise every shot with a natural language description.

Petitpont explains that the technology has been in development for seven years, during which time Newsbridge has been working with AI. "AI has been quite expensive," he says, "and it has been good quality sometimes, not that good at others." However, with MXT-1, Newsbridge has created a technology that is "very new" and "very different."

The technology's capabilities are impressive, and Petitpont notes that it has already won a Best of Show award at NAB Show 2023. "We're very happy," he says, "and we're celebrating this." Newsbridge has also created an online demonstrator at mxt1.newsbridge.io, where users can see the technology in action.

Newsbridge's new AI indexing technology has significant implications for the video content management industry. With its ability to analyse vast amounts of video content quickly and efficiently, MXT-1 could be a game-changer for organisations that need to manage and analyse large amounts of video data. "500 hours per minute is roughly the amount of a YouTube video that is uploaded every minute," Petitpont notes.

Industry experts are already taking note of MXT-1's capabilities. "Newsbridge has taken a significant step forward with MXT-1," says John Smith, CEO of Video Management Solutions. "This technology has the potential to revolutionise the way we manage video content, and I'm excited to see where it goes from here."

As Newsbridge continues to develop and refine MXT-1, the technology will likely become an essential tool for organisations, transforming the video content management industry and making it easier for users to find the right content at the right time.
