Broadcast software company Nxtedition has made its debut as an exhibitor at the National Association of Broadcasters(NAB) Show 2023. Sales Marketing Manager Roger Persson shared the company's story of frustration that led to its creation 10 years ago. "Our industry is working on how complex everything is, how not integrated the different systems actually are. We used to be system integrators. Out of frustration, we said, let's do it ourselves. So that's [where] everything started," Persson said. Nxtedition offers an all-in-one planning tool, ingest tool, and grip all within one user interface.
The system allows broadcasters to consolidate systems, making it easier to manage and speed up production times. Persson explained: "It is less complicated, and at least it has produced much more content in less time applying, and they have doubled their productivity using Nxtedition. Some of our clients also have cut their costs in half, and I would say that is remarkable." He also emphasised the importance of productivity in the broadcast industry. "Usually in every other business or industry, productivity is the number one priority of its own," he said.
Nxtedition has already made an impact on the broadcast industry with its integrated system. The company has seen significant increases in productivity for their clients. It has also allowed broadcasters to double their productivity, whilst also reducing costs by half. Although this is the first year that Nxtedition has attended the NAB Show, the company has exhibited at IBC and cap sets in the past. Its appearance at NAB Show is an opportunity for the company to introduce its solutions to the American market. "We're excited to see what Americans think of it," Persson said.
In a world where time is money, Nxtedition's integrated solutions are a promising development for broadcasters. The company's all-in-one system has already been proven to increase productivity and reduce costs for its clients. As the broadcast industry continues to evolve, Nxtedition's approach to streamlining systems could become the new standard.
