With the in-person IBC Show having had to be cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organisers of the popular broadcast exhibition have moved smoothly to induce IBC regulars to network and do business on IBC Digital.

The IBC Digital platform’s powerful AI will provide personalised recommendations for sessions to log on, exhibitors to contact and products to view, based on information that clients provided in the registration process.

The organisers are urging clients to connect with exhibitors, network with industry peers and book meetings, all in one place. Visitors to the digital IBC Show can also view exclusive content, including keynotes, panel discussions, technical papers, a series of workflow tours, accelerator projects and the IBC Awards ceremony.

Offering a wealth of content, tagged and curated by a dedicated team, IBC’s digital platform has been offering free-of-charge access to the entire programmes and allowing viewers to schedule live virtual meetings with exhibitors and each other.

“We will focus on bringing the content and technology community together via IBC Digital,” say the organisers. “Book one-to-one meetings with exhibitors online, invite your colleagues to group meetings with suppliers, watch the latest industry content live and on-demand, attend online-only breakout sessions.”

It has also been announced that next year’s IBC will take place in Amsterdam from 9-12 September 2022.
