The Porta-Pak is a portable and single power source catered for DSLR and pro-video users. It features a 12.5V, 98Wh, lithium-ion battery pack offering a 6amp continuous draw. Indipro has a series of accessories to increase the accessibility of the compact power source.
Among the new line of accessories, Porta-Pak battery kit for the Blackmagic Design 4K Pocket Camera (BMPCC4K) introduces both the Porta-Pak battery, charger, 2.1mm LP-E6-type battery power cable and travel case, as well as the new battery mounting enclosure. The external adapter enclosure is made of lightweight aluminium, which allows the Porta-Pak to be inserted and locked or swapped into a variety of mounting configurations without having to remove the enclosure.
Furthermore, cable can be connected to the Porta-Pak output and subsequently inserted to a dummy battery for the BMPCC4K camera.
The accessory kit comes complete with a utility belt-style travelling case, which is specially designed to house several Porta-Pak batteries and mounts.
With soft-shell case featuring snap-on straps, users can hang the case on a rig or clip it directly to a belt. Moreover, the Porta-Pak battery incorporates a 2.5mm outputting connector at 12V, a 2.1mm output connector at 7.4V, and a 5V USB, which allows it to charge multiple devices simultaneously.
