This year, SiliconCore, a Silicon Valley-based tech company, took the centre stage at the annual NAB Show to showcasing a 1.2-millimetre floor that has been developed for the military, which is not available anywhere else in the market. SiliconCore's LED screens have numerous applications in various industries, including corporate video walls and military operations.

SiliconCore's high-end LED screens have demonstrated exceptional brightness capabilities and contrast ratios, thanks to the company's patented technologies for driving LED chips, comparable to digital direct drives to the LEDs. This is unlike analogue-type drives commonly used in the industry. This unique technology has allowed SiliconCore to provide high-brightness screens with low power consumption.

Glenn Bailey, Vice President of APAC of SiliconCore, discussed in an interview with Asia Pacific Broadcasting+ how the company's patented technologies set them apart from other companies in the market. "As a tech company, we are always assessing new technologies and verticals to expand our offerings. We look at what problems the market wants us to fix and then present those solutions to the market," he said.

"We believe that with Unreal Engine and real-time rendering and virtual production, 240 frame rate screens and workflows will be essential for this industry," said Bailey.

The company's disruptive LED screens are poised to revolutionise the industry, particularly in virtual production, real-time rendering, and high-speed film shooting. SiliconCore has launched a big LED volume screen that supports a 240-hertz frame video frame rate, which is essential for virtual production. This technology removes all the scan lines and supports multi-camera solutions.

With their cutting-edge technology, SiliconCore is poised to be a leader in the industry for years to come.
