Under the main theme of ‘Connect the Future!’, Smart Tech Korea — taking place from June 23-25 at the COEX Convention Centre, Seoul — will feature a number of key events that will showcase innovative and smart technologies defining a society moving towards a smarter future.

The Smart Daily Live Pavilion, for instance, will showcase advanced integrated technologies covering a range of industries, including daily life, work environment, smart manufacturing and mobility. A special experience area will consist of various zones, including Living Lab, Smart Lab, Smart Manufacturing Lab and Retail Lab.

Over at TechCon 2021, an international smart technology conference, globally renowned speakers will explore and discuss future technology trends and challenges, while visitors can look forward to demonstrations of artificial intelligence (AI) combined with convergence technologies to support the 4.0 Era of Distribution.

The 2021 Industrial Distribution Week Forum and Conference, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and hosted by the Korea Federation of Industrial Distribution and Korea Chamber of Commerce, will present the future direction of economic recovery and the wholesale distribution industry post-pandemic. The forum, held in conjunction with Smart Tech Korea, will feature discussions among professionals from distribution and logistics-related global companies and startups.

Showcasing innovative startups and their solutions that will lead digital industrial distribution into the future is the E-Commerce Pitching Festa 2021 competition, which will be supported by international brands such as Coupang, eBay, Wemakeprice and Nielsen.

Winning participants will receive support in the form of distribution partnerships, mentoring, networking, investment, and participation in other digital distribution exhibitions. The winners will be decided at Smart Tech Korea.

The event is expected to welcome more than 200 domestic and overseas companies that will be introducing the latest integrated and innovative technologies to support the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.
