Japan’s leading
technology innovator Sony has launched MAS-A100, a beamforming microphone that
is capable of delivering hands-free and hassle-free lectures, as well as
meetings with acoustic feedback.
Designed
for environments such as meetings, lectures and presentations, the new
microphone is mounted on the ceiling to offer advanced clear audio quality
features as well as for speech reinforcement. It also records with a fusion of
beamforming technology and Intelligent Feedback Reducer function.
The microphone has a dual-channel output for “simultaneous recording for wide area” to capture both the speaker and students/participants voices. Moreover, the microphone is equipped with auto-noise reduction capabilities to minimise background sound from air-conditioners, projectors and so on – making it ideal for capturing and delivery important presentations.
The MAS-A100 is easily integrated into existing AV set-ups, and
can address the key pain points of flexibility experienced by the organisations
when installing a new system.
Together with the
support of Dante and Power over Ethernet (PoE) to enable easy
installation, the MAS-A100 will provide significant improvement to the audio
experience in education and corporate organisations.
