VideoFlow unveiled its flagship product Digital Video Gateway (DVG) and the contribution encoder for low delay, the Digital Video Contribution (DVC), at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show 2023. The event, held in Las Vegas, provided an opportunity for VideoFlow to showcase its new concept of cloud teleport, Della 14, for the first time.
VP of Sales Shimon Shanor explained that VideoFlow is aware of the significant shift in the industry, particularly with the new features being introduced with ATSC 3.0. With Della 14, VideoFlow is offering a unique selling proposition. The cloud teleport concept provides a troubleshooting tool, which can work on any domain, including cloud and other aspects. Shanor highlighted that cybersecurity is of paramount importance and that VideoFlow's platform stands apart from others in this aspect.
Additionally, the platform is cost-effective, upgradeable, and connects and transports video to any place. The presentation of the new gear, DVC, and the cloud teleport concept generated excitement amongst broadcasters and content providers at the event. Shanor said: "We can work on any domain, we can work on Cloud, we can work on other aspects as well." VideoFlow's DVG, DVC, and Della 14 cloud teleport concepts have raised expectations in the industry.
Shanor stated that the new platform is designed to be future-proof, with no need to buy a second platform. "For example, if anyone buys an ATSC 3.0 platform from VideoFlow and they are going to come up with new features, the FFMS support and other support features, they don't have to change the platform; the platform is ready for them," Shanor explained.
