Vizrt Introduces Fresh Innovations at IBC Show 2023

A swell of positive feedback echoed throughout the IBC Show 2023, especially from the Vizrt booth, where the company unveiled several new products designed to enhance content creation processes.

Vanessa Walmsley, Head of Customer Success at Vizrt, in an interview with Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+, expressed her satisfaction with the event. “This year has been a really positive show,” said Walmsley. “I think that message has resonated with all of our customers, as well as other vendors and our partners. Everyone’s enjoying the show and showing great interest in our technology.”

IBC, an annual show that gathers professionals from the broadcasting industry, has always been a platform for companies to demonstrate their latest tech innovations. This year, Vizrt came with a consolidated portfolio, bringing together their new tech and the broader Vizrt portfolio. “It’s now one Vizrt, one product portfolio,” Walmsley added. The range is expansive, from tools for individual content creators to high-end content creation products.

While many of the products showcased at IBC had been seen at other events like NAB and Broadcast Asia, Vizrt introduced some newcomers to the fold. Walmsley highlighted the Tricaster Mini Go, a simple live production tool developed in response to market feedback. “It starts to address the need we’ve heard from our user base,” she remarked.

Cloud-based applications were another focus for Vizrt. Tricaster Now, targeting the live and remote production space, took centre stage alongside other graphical tools, including Libero Go and Virtual Studio Go. The “Go” concept, according to Walmsley, is intended to provide users with a straightforward, out-of-the-box experience, addressing the needs voiced by Vizrt’s community.

When asked about the uniqueness of these products, especially in a competitive market, Walmsley was clear about Vizrt’s edge. “It’s not just about functionality,” she stated, “it’s about the user experience. Our products are very much so geared towards the user, ensuring they not only receive the desired functionality but also a simpler overarching experience. The time to value is very, very short.”

Vizrt’s participation at the IBC Show 2023 underscores its commitment to delivering cutting-edge broadcasting solutions that prioritise user experience, standing testament to its supportive role in an ever-evolving industry.
