WB Resources Clinches Accolade at Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2025 for Sarawak Legislative Project

WB Resources Sdn Bhd has emerged victorious in the Digital Transformation – Malaysia category at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2025, in recognition of their work on the modernisation of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly’s Chamber Room and Control Room.
The company introduced cutting-edge audio-visual, conferencing, and broadcasting solutions for the legislative body. The transformation features a multimedia conference system, a high-definition recording management server, and an interactive video wall display system with live feed and digital signage capabilities.
The project specifically featured the PIXELab Digital Multimedia Conference System, which seamlessly combines chairman and delegate microphones, multi-touch LED screens and real-time voting and agenda tracking capabilities. Powered by PIXELab’s intelligent AV ecosystem with integrated AI capabilities, the system enhances meeting efficiency and information flow – contributing to a 30% reduction in session durations. In addition, a high-definition recording management server was integrated to ensure secure and comprehensive documentation of proceedings.
Another standout innovation of the project is the implementation of a 4K Samsung Video Wall Display System, boosted by PIXELab PTZ cameras and a synchronised live feed and digital signage system. These elements allow for real-time broadcasting of legislative sessions to a wide audience, reaching over 500,000 viewers across digital platforms.
To ensure inclusivity, multilingual interpretation desks were set up to provide real-time translation support for non-native speakers, enhancing accessibility. The entire system was built to ISO and ONVIF standards, ensuring interoperability, data security and scalability in line with global public sector requirements.
From intuitive user interfaces to dynamic live streaming solutions, WB Resources ensured that every component worked harmoniously to promote transparency, inclusivity and digital readiness.
Not only has the project empowered lawmakers and administrators with more effective tools for governance, but it has also strengthened civic engagement by providing the public with clear and accessible insights into parliamentary activities.
