Xytech Systems, a prominent player in the media operations domain, spotlighted its revolutionary Media Operations Platform at this year’s IBC Show. The firm’s Chief Product Officer, David White, highlighted three significant updates to the product, placing Xytech Systems ahead in the industry.
“IBC 2023 has been exceptional for us. We’ve noticed an influx of attendees and a burgeoning interest from professionals eager to advance their media operations,” White shared at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ interview in Amsterdam.
White outlined three major enhancements to the Media Operations Platform:
Satellite Transmission Support: The platform now facilitates dynamic bandwidth management, an advancement over past static transponder-based bandwidths. This enables satellite operators to optimise revenue, while their clients find a balanced trade-off between expenditure and desired quality and speed.
Integration of Acquired ‘Schedule’: Several years ago, Xytech Systems acquired ‘Schedule’, and since then, the company has been amalgamating its best features into the Media Operations Platform. The result? Clients benefit from a contemporary web interface and a SaaS hosted application. “Our clients can concentrate on managing their business, leaving software management to us,” White explained.
Next-Generation UX Announcement: Slated for release in the first quarter of the following year, Xytech Systems plans to introduce a revamped user experience, initially for mobile users. This would cater especially to field resources, ensuring they have real-time access to calendars, time cards, contacts, and crucial notifications.
When quizzed about the unique proposition of Xytech Systems’ offerings compared to competitors, White was keen to underscore the comprehensive capabilities. “We offer an unmatched breadth in media operations, ranging from resource management, scheduling, billing, to the ultimate digital file delivery to clients. Our platform caters from medium-sized companies to industry giants, and our cloud hosting empowers them to maximise their revenues,” White elucidated.
The company’s commitment to constant innovation and understanding of the evolving needs of the media sector has solidified its position in the market. As the IBC Show 2023 in Amsterdam concludes, it’s evident that Xytech Systems is set on shaping the future of media operations, ensuring businesses can focus on what they do best, leaving the technology to the experts.
