Yuvod, a Spanish company established in 2015, has successfully transformed from a B2C video-on-demand company to a B2B streaming platform that offers an end-to-end streaming solution for enterprises. Monica Logani, the CFO of Yuvod, shared the company's journey and its value proposition in an interview with Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ at NAB Show 2023 in Las Vegas.
Yuvod has been providing an end-to-end streaming platform for enterprises since 2018-2019. According to Logani, the company's four core elements of the value proposition are an end-to-end solution, a 100% cloud-based platform, complete customisation, and the most transparent and lowest pricing in the industry. Logani explained that Yuvod offers an all-inclusive solution, from signal uplink to app design, including the back-end, transcoding, encoding, middleware, CDN, and app design.
Additionally, clients can benefit from white-labelling and the option of not investing in their own head end, as Yuvod can also provide the upload of the downlink of the signal. Yuvod's unique value proposition has enabled the company to succeed in the B2B model, with satisfied clients who appreciate Yuvod's services. "We have seen significant growth," she said. "We are in 22 countries, and we have over 500 linear channels that we're streaming right now for our clients."
The company has continued to invest in and enhance its platform's capabilities, including improving analytics and reporting, adding artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, and upgrading its content management system. Yuvod has continued to evolve and improve, with plans to expand its services beyond streaming. "We are looking to move into other areas, like offering services for gaming, advertising, and more," Logani said.
Yuvod's success in providing an end-to-end streaming solution, complete customisation, transparent pricing, and continued investment in enhancing its platform capabilities has enabled the company to become a reputable player in the industry.
