Unleash your imagination this month as Mediacorp’s long-form
drama series, KIN, calls for entries in its latest fan-fiction story
writing contest. KIN is a drama about the dynamics of life, love and
family relationships that was aired on Mediacorp’s multiple distribution
channels - meWatch and Channel 5.
This competition provides fans of KIN an avenue to re-imagine
and create alternate storylines for the show. Alternatively, writers can
explore the timeline of the show and develop a spin-off character in an
expanded KIN universe.
Entries will be judged for their quality of writing and
suitability in three categories: voice (writing style), content and
originality, and adaptability. Top 10 shortlisted entries will receive a
meWATCH 12-month premium subscription worth around S$100 and a KIN limited
edition tumbler collectible.
The best four out of the 10 entries will also win S$500 cash
each and the opportunity for their entry to be adapted into an episode for KIN.
The contest is held by Mediacorp and Wattpad Studios, a
global multi-platform entertainment company. Start brainstorming now, and
