Bhimavaram Community Network (BCN Digital), a multi-system operator in India, has implemented a range of Irdeto cybersecurity solutions to secure its content.
Irdeto’s IPTV and over-the-top (OTT) solutions, including Irdeto Cloaked CA and Irdeto Control, will be delivered to BCN Digital with the latter integrated with Broadpeak Nano Content Delivery Network and Multicast ABR (M-ABR) solutions.
This project will be the first implementation of Irdeto Control on a hybrid Reference Design Kit (RDK) Set-Top Box (STB) and the first to support a multi-ABR deployment.
According to BCN Digital, Irdeto’s proven cutting-edge technology, which offers a fast time to market for new services, client devices, and Digital Rights Management (DRM) features, were the key attributes of the partnership. Irdeto also has experience in meeting and complying with the requirements of the local regulatory authorities.
