MOG Technologies has launched a new product line that offers a variety of software solutions, including recording, streaming, ingesting, encoding, decoding, transcoding, and playback.
These solutions, according to MOG Technologies, are designed to assist media broadcast professionals in creating professional-quality content and allow media creators and distributors to bring their visions to life with these new sets of tools and software.
To support these new solutions, MOG has also introduced a new line of hardware products, including high-performance media decks, high-density servers, and flexible and elastic media farms, which are conceived to work the new software, thus providing media professionals with a complete end-to-end solution.
For instance, its mREC video file recorder replaces mediaREC and it is optimised for enterprise, digital media, sports, and broadcast markets with a file-based capture system. The system supports multiple formats and resolutions, including 4K/Ultra HD (UHD) and high dynamic range (HDR) workflows.
Another solution that has been enhanced is the mCODER. Previously known as mediaMOVE, the media transcoder solution from MOG is capable of automating asset conversion to internal house formats for a wide range of media workflows and supports Adobe Premiere, Media Composer, Edius, and DavinciResolve.
MOG’s video playout solution has also been rebranded to mPLAY, which provides an agnostic playback system to ensure quality control process and allows users to playback and review a wide range of file-based content with broadcast quality across all platforms and channels.
Adding to MOG’s new product line are the mLIVE encoder/decoder, mDECK professional media decks, and MAM4PRO cloud media production, which MOG says will help clients revolutionise the way they produce and consume media.
