Vislink Technologies, a global provider of wireless communication solutions, showcased their latest products at the NAB Show 2023. The VP of Sales EMEA, Jeroen (JD) Dijkhuizen, unveiled a hybrid solution that combines RF and 5G for better connectivity in remote locations. The new solution enables users to bond RF and cellular connections together, creating a ruggedised solution that provides flexibility and mobility.
The system is the first of its kind to be shown, with Vislink being a traditionally RF-based company and Mobile Viewpoint being a cellular-based company. Vislink's Hybrid Solution includes new products such as the HCam, which has been around for a whilst, but now includes an add-on 5G link. The company also showcased a completely new model, the Click, a small box RF module with two video inputs, H.265 encoder, and brand-new features. Dijkhuizen highlighted the flexibility provided by Vislink's platform, which allows users to send streams over the SRT to different locations worldwide, whilst the company's support services department can connect to all the units to offer assistance to clients remotely.
