Net Insight empowers Oranda to offer smooth viewing for sports fans in Asia
Net Insight’s media transport solutions were recently deployed to deliver high-quality video services across Asia for a major winter sporting event held in the region. The company secured the order for its Nimbra 400 and Nimbra Edge solutions from Oranda, a media production company in Singapore.
Oranda utilised Net Insight’s Nimbra Edge cloud networking solution alongside Nimbra 400 devices, ensuring reliable and high-performance video distribution. Designed to handle premium live sports, Nimbra Edge provides flexibility to create, network, and monitor media flows, enabling a dynamic and scalable high quality viewing solution for winter sports fans in the region.
Through its remote production facility in Singapore, Oranda managed ingress and egress of video feeds via Net Insight’s Nimbra 400 devices, facilitating efficient content regionalisation and distribution to broadcasters and rights holders across Asia. This setup ensured low-latency, high-quality, and cost-efficient content delivery, maximising audience engagement.
