MNC partners Gencom to strengthen its presence in NZ & Pacific islands

MNC Global, a provider of software and network solutions for the broadcast and media industry, has strengthened its presence in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond by appointing Gencom Technology as an official solution partner under its global network programme.
The move marks a significant expansion of MNC’s partner ecosystem, enhancing access to its flagship applications — including Mosaic for end-to-end monitoring and control, Tessera for asset management, and Tapestry for no-code workflow orchestration — in the New Zealand and Pacific Island markets.
Gencom Technology, based in New Zealand, brings more than 50 years of experience delivering integrated technology solutions and professional services to media organisations across the region. With this partnership, MNC aims to provide localised technical support tailored to the operational needs and time zones of media businesses in these territories.
David Barnard, Managing Director, Gencom, said, “We are constantly talking to our customers about the tools they need, and researching the global market for the best offerings to meet those needs.
“Our view is that the MNC software applications are far advanced compared to its competitors, and we are keen to show our customers how they can improve operational efficiency by adding them to their environments.”
The partnership comes amid a broader strategic push by MNC Software to accelerate global growth and deepen regional expertise. The company recently appointed Darren Frearson as CEO to drive this agenda.
“A critical part of any successful business is ensuring potential customers fully understand the benefits of the product, and delivering those benefits within the commercial and operational goals of the user,” said Frearson. “I have worked with Gencom extensively in the past and have a great deal of confidence in their skillset and abilities.”
