Net Insight and Console Connect bags accolade at Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2025

Cloud-native live streaming platform named the Internet Delivery Network – Hong Kong recipient.
Net Insight and Console Connect triumphed at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2025 after joining forces to launch a cloud-native live streaming platform, revolutionising live video delivery in Asia-Pacific.
Console Connect and Net Insight unveiled the platform, which redefines how live video is delivered over the internet. This new solution, which is designed specifically for broadcasters, content creators, and streaming platforms, makes it easier, faster, and more cost-effective to deliver high-quality live content anywhere in the world.
The platform is built on Net Insight’s Nimbra Edge and Console Connect’s global Software Defined Interconnection® platform, known as LIVE (Live Internet Video Exchange). Together, they provide a seamless, internet-ready system for live video contribution and delivery—completely cloud-based, flexible, and scalable to meet the needs of both occasional and event-driven broadcasting.
Unlike traditional broadcast systems retrofitted for the internet, this platform is fully cloud-native. Users can manage their live streams through a simple web interface—spinning up, routing, and scaling live content in real time without the need for dedicated hardware or permanent infrastructure.
The platform can launch and adjust delivery workflows on demand, whether it’s a local sports match or a global event. It supports both public and private clouds, with access to data centres and cloud providers in over 50 countries.
In addition to these, it boasts advanced features like packet loss recovery and adaptive routing to ensure stream stability, as well as intuitive controls and self-service capabilities to make professional-grade live streaming accessible to more users.
With the Asia-Pacific region experiencing rapid growth in digital video consumption, this platform meets the need for more agile and affordable streaming solutions.
Broadcasters can now let go of the heavy costs or limitations of traditional infrastructure in launching temporary channels, covering live events, or responding to breaking news.
The platform also supports sustainability and efficiency goals. By using cloud resources only when needed, customers avoid over-provisioning and reduce energy use.
This platform sets a new standard for live media delivery and reflects a major step forward in live broadcasting.
