At IBC2025, Tedial will be unveiling key updates to smartWork, its media integration and asset management platform, empowering media companies to streamline content creation, packaging, and distribution with greater agility and intelligence.

New features to smartWork include an advanced web editor, which allows users to create engaging platform-specific content directly in the browser. The new editor allows users to add transitions, graphics, and voiceovers, with outputs optimised for horizontal, vertical, or square formats.

smartWork can now efficiently manage live IP streams (SRT, RTMP, HLS), enabling real-time content recording and creation of highlights or clips for instant distribution. The enhanced platform simplifies live production, significantly accelerating workflows and enhancing remote collaboration.

Users can also upload media from any device (Mac, Windows, Linux, smartphone), review content easily, give feedback through comments, and visually mark areas that require adjustment.

smartWork is also introducing optimised workflows for multiple verticals. For sports, users can organise content by teams, players, and events with advanced event logs; for news, editorial can be sped up with story-centric workflows and feed integration; artists, genres, and releases can be managed more efficiently in music libraries; and in distribution, smartWork automates versioning, poster/graphic handling, and platform-specific delivery.

Its AI-powered workflow intelligence further enhances every stage of the media supply chain with semantic search, with multilingual support, automated metadata enrichment, and speech-to-text as well as AI dubbing for global reach.
