Frequency, a provider of cloud-based solutions for streaming TV, has announced that it will launch its new suite of live streaming tools, Studio Live, at IBC 2025. The company, known for powering many of the world’s most popular streaming channels, aims to simplify and scale live content delivery for the growing free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) and over-the-top (OTT) markets.
Built on Frequency’s cloud-native platform, Studio Live is designed to unify and streamline the entire live streaming workflow. It integrates advanced automation, low-latency video ingest, dynamic graphics, and real-time monitoring into a single interface. The goal is to make live broadcasting as simple and precise as managing traditional linear channels.
Frequency has established a track record for its work on high-profile events, having powered live coverage for major sporting events such as the Super Bowl and the FIFA World Cup, as well as extensive headline news. With Studio Live, the company is expanding on this foundation to enable a wider variety of live content. The new suite will empower teams to manage 24/7 channels, breaking news, and pop-up events.
The new suite will also consolidate Frequency’s existing live capabilities while introducing enhancements across every stage of the streaming workflow. Studio Live offers ultra-low latency ingest with real-time source previewing, automated and manual ad triggers, custom slates, dynamic overlays, and branding powered by Graphics+, as well as multi-channel distribution from a single source for both scheduled and ad-hoc events.
Its playout architecture includes multi-region failover and disaster recovery, while real-time monitoring and audit trails provide operators with full transparency. The platform also supports a tiered operational model, ranging from intuitive self-serve tools to fully managed services.
Blair Harrison, Founder & CEO, Frequency, said, “Live is one of the fastest growing opportunities in streaming today. Studio Live is built on everything we’ve learned delivering live video at scale over many years.
“Our goal is always to provide customers with the highest quality service and complete visibility into their channel operations, while eliminating all friction and complexity.” Check out Studio Live and its full capabilities at stand 3.MS26 during IBC 2025, which is taking place from September 12-25 at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.
