Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) is delivering coverage of World Cup 2026 to viewers across Indonesia on its TVRI Nasional and TVRI Sport channels, running its broadcast operations on the Etere Ecosystem.
Indonesia’s national public television network deployed the system together with Etere’s distributor, PT Galva Technologies. The installation includes a new LTO9 archive and brings TVRI’s workflows under a single central control system, backed by a fully integrated database, which Etere said ensures consistent, high-performance nationwide delivery of the tournament.
The deployment comprises three core components. Etere ETX provides an IT-based video management and playout platform that integrates multiple input and output capabilities into a single interface, with mixing, character generation, branding and audio/video functions.
Etere Transcoder handles decoding, encoding, transcoding, muxing and demuxing, filtering and frame-rate conversion across standards. Etere Multichannel Ingest supports ingest and playback of 4K/Ultra HD (UHD), HD, and SD content from NDI, SDI, and IP feeds, live streams, or file imports, with up to six streams simultaneously.
Separately, Etere has extended its publishing capabilities with WordPress integration for both its media asset management (MAM) platform and Nunzio Newsroom, allowing users to publish content directly from Etere to self-hosted WordPress sites without leaving the Etere interface.
The integration is included as part of the Etere Social Media Package. Users configure and log in once to enable auto-publishing, and can assign categories and tags to optimise content organisation and discoverability. News stories can also be published to WordPress automatically once they go on-air in the rundown.
According to Etere, the WordPress integration provides a unified workflow that bridges broadcast and digital publishing, allowing stories to reach audiences across multiple platforms as they air.
