Broader media support, better version control, and enhanced search engine are some of the new features packed in the “all new Frame.io”
At 2018 NAB Show, Frame.io will be previewing its newly enhanced Frame.io workflow management platform, which will be released this summer.
Designed to accelerate collaboration among content creators, the new Frame.io is equipped with broader media support, better version control, new commenting tools and an enhanced search engine, said Frame.io.
Some new features packed within the new Frame.io include advanced media browser with enhanced search and a new uploader with nested folder support, a revamped core video playback for enhanced media experience, range-based commenting, and notifications that display view count and historical views.
In addition to these new features, the new Frame.io is integrated with a new player page that supports 360-degree virtual reality (VR) content with spatial annotations, enabling users to highlight a specific target within a frame. And with enhanced performance on mobile browsers, the player page allows users to add descriptions to file, thus accelerating collaboration within teams and their clients.
Frame.io will be exhibiting alongside Western Digital at booth SL6316 during the NAB Show, which will take place from April 7-12 at the Las Vegas Convention Centre in Nevada, USA.
