Mediagenix’s Semantic Intelligence able to maximise catalogue ROI

Mediagenix is advancing its Semantic Intelligence capabilities to help studios and networks extract greater value from their content libraries. By strengthening the semantic links across title and rights data, the platform transforms metadata into actionable commercial insights, enabling sales and licensing teams to maximise catalogue ROI while preparing for AI-driven workflows in curation, scheduling, and monetisation.

As distribution models evolve and licensing strategies grow more complex, media organisations often struggle to fully leverage their extensive metadata. Performance dashboards provide metrics, but teams frequently lack a connected understanding of how titles relate to one another, rights availability, and buyer demand. Without a structured meaning behind each asset, AI cannot operate effectively in commercial workflows.

Mediagenix’s Title Management solution now incorporates advanced semantic modelling, powered by recommendation and personalisation technology from Spideo, acquired by Mediagenix in 2024. By linking title data, rights intelligence, and audience signals, the platform allows teams to identify opportunities faster, package content strategically, and enhance monetisation.

“Metadata describes an asset with information such as genre, cast, runtime, and synopsis. Semantic Intelligence understands it,” said Gabriel Mandelbaum, Vice-President Content Strategy & Management, Mediagenix. “It structures the meaning of content and connects it to rights and audience demand.

“With that level of detail and context, sales and licensing teams have a much clearer view of the catalogue and how best to monetise it. The result is higher catalogue utilisation, smarter packaging, and improved content ROI.”

Mediagenix continues to deepen contextual modelling within content catalogues, connecting assets to audience behaviour and commercial signals. This approach allows AI to operate transparently, supporting explainable personalisation, precise licensing strategies, and data-driven portfolio optimisation, transforming AI from experimentation into a measurable operational advantage.

Mediagenix will be showcasing its enhanced Semantic Intelligence at booth W1857 during NAB  2026, which is taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Centre from April 19-22.
