At IBC2026, Witbe will demonstrate AI agents that can execute instructions such as selecting the latest episode of a named show to ensuring that on-screen content is appropriate for a child’s profile. The agents adapt to pop-ups, sleep mode, system prompts, and overnight UI redesigns, which typically breaks traditional automation, says Witbe.
Beyond availability testing, the Agentic SDK, a Python framework, combines AI-driven steps with algorithmic steps in the same scenario, making it possible to measure performance KPIs, such as startup time, buffering and MOS-based video quality.
This hybrid approach allows teams to control how much AI is used in each test, from 0% to 100% per scenario, giving them direct control over token consumption and AI spend.
Witbe now verifies ads far beyond the ad break, including two formats the company says were previously “nearly impossible to monitor”— virtual ad placements or virtual signage, sponsor graphics inserted directly into the game; and stay-live ads, where the action continues inside a branded frame.
Witbe tracks them live against client-provided definitions, logging every occurrence with timecodes and video evidence.
A deep monitoring specialised setup used to take days to set up, whenever it was possible at all. Thanks to the Agentic SDK, it now deploys in hours. During FIFA World Cup broadcasts in Europe and North America, Witbe monitored the broadcasts on 100+ real devices across 30+ locations, comparing regional feeds side by side.
At booth 1.C53, Witbe will also demonstrate Smartgate AI, its newest intelligence layer. Questions asked in plain language, such as “what are the top failing tests this week?” return an answer grounded in measured results, with inline charts. Failing runs are compared against successful ones to pinpoint the root cause.
"Our clients are seeing productivity gains they did not think were possible, and Witbe Suite 41 has only been rolling out for a few months.” said Mathieu Planche, CEO, Witbe.
"AI was the missing link: it gives our tests the reasoning of a real viewer, so they keep working when everything on screen changes … and the pace is accelerating.
“We expect to arrive at IBC with even more announcements."
Do not miss the demonstrations of Witbe’s products at IBC2026, which is taking place from September 11-14 at the RAI Amsterdam Convention.
